Virtual Reality technology has the potential to change the way we tell stories. Transmedia has the potential to expand the way we tell stories. As filmmakers find themselves at the dawn of a new era, a century of filmmaking techniques must take an evolutionary leap forward and adapt to the medium to redefine the language of narrative cinema. Gimmick or revolution? A panel of filmmakers will discuss the tools available to capture virtual reality imagery, the logistics of shooting in a 360 degree environment, and the challenge of creating new methods to transform the audience experience.
