Presented by Q99 and MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual, the eight short films in this package examine the unique passions that people pursue which bring meaning to their lives and how the lives of those around them are affected. We are proud to include two Peace Region films: the world premiere of CROOKED CREEK, Alexandra Lazarowich’s documentary about the most famous donuts in the Peace Region; and Patrick O’Connor’s documentary DEFINING MOMENTS, an exploration of the moments that changed the course of a woman’s life. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
