On the wrong side of a driveway in a barren yard of dry dirt and dead grass, a dandelion struggles to survive while its fellow weeds wither away and die. Across the concrete lies another yard where the sprinklers spray water and the grass is green. Can the dandelion make the journey to a better life? An international team of volunteer Disney artists led by Director Kevin Hudson and Producer Brad Simonsen employ a deceptively simple story to tell a universal truth about immigrants: “If we can make people feel empathy for something as tiny as a little Dandelion, then perhaps we can make them feel more for their fellow Human Beings.”
