We are grateful to all the filmmakers and distributors who submitted their films to our 2017 festival: 5,074 submissions were received from 131 countries in addition to hundreds of other short films that were seen at other festivals or requested for consideration. We open for submissions on September 18 for the 12th Reel Shorts Film Festival May 8-14, 2018. We accept submissions on Film Freeway. There is no submission fee. The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2017. Peace Region filmmakers have an extended deadline of January 15, 2018.
